Steady Start Summit (a production of Kristen Phillips Coaching LLC)
The Steady Start Summit ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you register for or attend the summit, visit our website, download our materials, listen to our podcast, or work with us in a coaching capacity.
Because much of our audience is teen girls, we collect as little information as we can and we are careful with what we do collect. Please read Section 6 for how we handle information from anyone under 18.
1. Information We Collect
Summit Registrants
-Name and email address.
-Whether you are registering as a teen attendee or as a parent, guardian, or other adult.
-If you purchase the All-Access Pass: billing name, email, and payment details, which are collected and processed by our payment processor. We do not store your full card number.
-Any questions or comments you submit during or after a session.
Live Session Attendees
-Webinar account name or display name, email address, and basic connection information collected by webinar platform when you join the live panel.
-Questions submitted through the anonymous question form. These are not linked to your name or email.
Coaching Clients
-Name, email, phone number, and payment details.
I-nformation shared during coaching sessions, including notes, goals, and preferences.
Podcast Listeners and Website Visitors
-Email addresses submitted for newsletter sign-ups, resource downloads, or waitlists.
-Device and usage information collected through analytics, including IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
-Cookies on our website, used to improve your experience and understand how the site is used.
2. How We Use Your Information
-To register you for the summit and give you access to sessions, replays, and materials.
-To process All-Access Pass purchases.
-To send you summit reminders, session links, and follow-up resources.
-To send newsletters and updates. Teen registrants and adult registrants are placed on separate email lists so that each of you receives content meant for you.
-To provide coaching services, schedule sessions, and process payments.
-To answer questions submitted before, during, or after a session.
-To improve our website, summit, podcast, and services.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not run ads targeted at our teen audience.
3. Live Sessions and Recordings
The live panel is hosted on Zoom Webinar. Attendee cameras and microphones are off. You will not be seen or heard by other attendees, and other attendees will not see your name.
The live panel is recorded so that registrants can watch the replay. Because attendee cameras and microphones are off, the recording does not include your image or voice.
Questions submitted through the anonymous question form are not connected to your name or email address. A question may be read aloud or answered during the panel. Please do not include your full name, your school, or other identifying details in a question you would not want shared.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We do not share your name or email address with summit speakers. Speakers do not receive our registrant list. If you would like to hear from a speaker, you can join their list directly through the links they provide.
We do share limited information with trusted service providers who help us run the summit and our other work, including:
-Our email marketing platform
-Our payment processor
-Zoom, for the live panel
-Our website and landing page host
-Our podcast hosting service
-Analytics providers
These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.
We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process.
5. Security of Your Information
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including secure storage, encryption of sensitive information, and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to limit how much of it we hold in the first place.
6. Minors and Parental Consent
Our summit and podcast are created for teen girls ages 13 to 18 and for the adults who care about them.
Under 13: We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, and children under 13 should not register for the summit or submit an email address to us. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, please contact us at [email protected].
Ages 13 to 17: If you are under 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian before you register, purchase anything, or share your information with us. We collect only a first name and an email address from teen registrants. We do not ask teens for a phone number, address, school name, or date of birth.
Parents and guardians: You may request a copy of the information we hold about your teen, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and remove them from our lists. Contact us at [email protected] and we will take care of it.
Coaching services for anyone under 18 require a parent or guardian to sign the coaching agreement.
7. Email Communications
When you register for the summit, you will receive emails related to the summit itself, including session links, reminders, and replay access. You will also be added to our ongoing email list.
You can unsubscribe from our ongoing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us at [email protected]. If you unsubscribe before the summit ends, you may still receive the emails needed to give you access to what you registered for.
8. Cookies and Analytics
Our website may use cookies and analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve your experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if you do.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
-Access the personal information we hold about you.
-Correct information that is inaccurate.
-Request deletion of your information.
-Unsubscribe from our emails.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If we make a significant change to how we use your information, we will let registrants know by email.
